Man, I hate it when that happens. And I still wish a notice box would pop-up when someone wants to respond to a post that is over 2 years old...

LT-1 blue door tag.
That would be a good indicator if it is an original blue tag. Those are reproduced.
The original blue tag info prior to the 1972 model year was stamped with running it over the protectoplate.
Can you see anything else on the tag? It should also have tranny code dating.

Back to the blue door tag I don't see any other numbers on it. I do have the Lt-1 motor although it's apart but all goodies are there numbers and dates match but block has been decked no numbers available. Right now the vette has a 383 strocker.

Check at the very lower left. You could see only the tops of a few letters/numbers.

Your blue sticker is not definitive proof. However, some stickers when the POP was stamped into them also left behind the engine stamp portion from the original POP. Definitive proof usually comes with the whole package and not just one single thing.

Hi,
Often, if given the chance, the car will tell it's own story.

Alan
Here's how/why the broadcast code sometimes ended up on the Certification label.
