I was looking at some past posts about the C4 and most of them aren't too good. Just wondering why, I was thinking about getting one some day to use as a daily driver.

I had a few 92-96's, they make great DD-ers. Great fuel economy, quick and nimble. They just have NO style, IMO.

Default not hate just dislike

well i grew up looking at C1s-C3s. so when they changed the body to "the wedge" i just didnt like it, and i still am not a big fan. and the wiring.......but the up grades in suspension technology is incredible. so kinda like you like it but you hate it. just doesnt have the Style that i like in a VETT.

Drove a '91 LPE vert for 10yrs as a DD. Great car, miss the comfort but the styling was bland when parked next to the C3.

I had an 89 6-spd prior to my 76. I enjoyed and liked the car as a daily driver for 2 years. I preferred the C-3 styling better and sold out.

Somebody needs to make a C2/C3 hybrid body style to retrofit on the C4! Poor man's mid year with modern comforts and great handling.

my son and I are looking at an '87 to build into road racer -track only. We thought about using my vert. but figure its first 8 years were used for racing then returned to near stock, it has done enough. We can picj up an '87 for not much $ and build it up.

I guess I'm one of the few that like them. I really like the clamshell hood that makes working on the engine easy plus it shows off all the suspension bits.

I had a 96 with the LT4 and kind of miss it. It was a great car. If you get a C4, get a 95 or newer. They had most of the electrical gremlins figured out by then.

They're a lot of car for the money.

Had a friend with an ugly brown 86. Drove it many times. Didn't like the Buck Rogers dash, very heavy and boxy feel, and lack of styling. Clam shell hood was nice though. If I got one it would be mid 90's with the different styling.

I like em, my next Vette will be a black 90 6-speed, they are also dirt-cheap these days!

Hello,
I have a 1986 that I use as a daily driver. I think it is a great car. Great style, great handling, and loads of amenities. A/C works, heater works, am/fm/cassette, power steering, brakes, windows, leather seats.... This is a great running and driving car.

My C3's are for the weekend cruises. My 86 is for my daily driver get me to work on time car.
