I managed to snipe two auctions today. Lost the third. 
Damn shame. Would have had all the parts I needed to finish my next project. Still got hella good deals on the two I won.
I just wait until the last possible second then put in my max bid. If I get outbid, it doesn't matter cause I'm NOT going over my magic number.
