Rear Leaf Spring
All I have seen or heard is 7 or 9 leaf springs in C3's. I just pulled mine out of my 76 and it has 10 leaves. Does the bottom one that bolts to the trailing arms not count? Or do I have an aftermarket or modified spring?

My 78 Gymkhana suspension has a 5 x leaf spring, but when I took it apart, I ended up with 6 x metal pieces. I think the short 6 inch long piece doesn't count. Based on that, it sounds like you have a 9 leaf spring, with that small piece on top. Maybe that helps you.
