Well I came home, went in the garage, and thought what was I thinking.
I only drive a few hundred miles per season, so neither would be considered a daily driver,
I spoke with this guy today who has this pace car, since it was the real thing
I got thinking because one day I'd like a 4 speed.
The pace car looks but as mentioned with under 10k miles, I'd
probably treat it like a trailer queen and be afraid to drive it.
I guess I'll pass on this for now, and maybe one day afford an LT1 or a BB bumpers car.
Romeo...pm me with the details of the PC if your not interested in it!

why not look to trade for a chrome bumper with a 4sp.....as guys get older the auto may be appealing.....do a straight up trade or with some minor change of money
"what do you prefer? I can take it or leave it.
thinking about this '78 pace car has me confused".
I have one of each! A 71' convert and a 78' T-top. The 78' has more room and is more comfortable to drive, but the 71' turns more heads. A Pace Car 4-speed is rare and usually pricy. Pay half as much for a regular 78' 4 speed and keep the bumper car. The 78' will never be worth what the 71' is.
