Per Bismarck: "For one very small country to be able to compete with the rest of the world, in war, is astounding. "

Maybe so, but I think, if memory serves me THEY LOST

I also think if you ignore this clown he will go away.

Whether or not you agree with Bush's policies, you cannot deny that he has alienated us from much of the world. In this respect he has done something similar to what Hitler did. He is also just as close minded and stubborn as Hitler was and both of these things have cost him dearly in his effectiveness as president. I am not trying to get in a debate about G. Bush as he does not interest me much. I am just explaining my reference to Hitler.

God, the simple minds of some of you astound me. You missed the point, genius. The fact that such a small country was even able to present such formidable opposition, in a war against the rest of the world, is astounding. How would Germany have done if USA was their ally? They would have won easily. How would Germany have done against any one country at that time? They would have won easily. This fact is testament to the efficiency and intelligence of their people.

Well, you might as well add in Imperial japan... they started industrializing waaay after the Germans and accomplished more given the short time span and also gave the US more defeats in WW2 than the Germans and conquered twice as much territory.

...and talk about postwar accomplishments after the devastation of 2 nuclear bombings...!

So the Germans ain't the only evil geniuses in history... but they both still lost the big one.

I don't disagree with you that the japanese have done quite well for themselves following WW2.

Do I have a corvette? No, I don't. I have 2 and including an '07 Z06 on the way, it will soon be 3. There are lots of people with more money than I have so I am not bragging about that. However, I will boast openly about the females that I have mounted, which of course is the true test of manhood and accomplishment, when all is said and done. Let the record show that as always, I have used many of you and your weak minds as a playground for my own selfish needs. A little bait is all that is required as the nerds form a pack, all huddled and oblivious to the fact that they are being exploited for my own entertainment. It won't be long before I return with another nickname to pull you queers around the torrid windmill of mental humiliation once again. There are a handful of members here who I don't have anything against. The rest are not anything more than corvette dorks who think they have something special in their sub 300hp sh*tboxes. Like the battleship, I would like to go out in a blaze of glory. The key difference is that I will return whenever I feel like it! LMAO. Maybe my next nickname will be Tirpitz. Do you think you subliterates will be able to notice me a little quicker if I make it easy for you like that?
As with the original Bismarck, scuttled by his own crew.

But i aint praising their genius... they lost the war because they were shortsighted and couldn't create more than they destroyed.

The US won because we had true individual geniuses like Einstein and others who used genius to serve others rather than themselves.

If the ship, Bismarck, had such a disloyal crew, it would have never made it out of port.

I love people like you, you really have no point other than to try to irritate others, and you're really not too good at it. But, using your logic, if we had left Iraq alone, ole Saddam would have kicked butt too, a la Germany. Sure, German engineering is good and their metal work is usually tops, but even if they had been the size of the USA, they would have still lost, I guess the best way to say it is "Right is Might" and that's what the USA was-right.

So, Bismarck, step up to the plate and post "your" vette pics I know you won't because anyone who has to brag about how they are at"mounting" their women have gonads the size of peas!

Good luck on getting more comments, maybe this post will reach a record, since that's what you really want.

They lost the war because they did not have the numbers to fight the rest of the world. They also had a very stubborn and often foolish leader who forced them into several defeats, such as the one that they suffered in the winter against Russia.

Nah, I already have the record for that, although over 3000 views in 2 days isn't half bad.

Thats why they were as stupid as they were intelligent... kinda cancels out any advantages.

They woulda lost no matter how many times you rewrite WW2.

She probably fell for his latin accent when he emulated Nacho el Sagundo. Either that, or she is a **** actress on the payroll.

While many people merely wield hatred toward **** germany, they fail to recognize the ingenious engineering in their military equipment at the time. For one very small country to be able to compete with the rest of the world, in war, is astounding. The Bismarck and Tirpitz were two examples of their intelligence as a people. It was not their fault that they had a leader who pushed them into tension with the rest of the world. Look what George Bush has done for American relations abroad. It may not be quite as extensive but it is happening to us americans, as well, in the present day and age.

Well I am not going to get into a history lesson with a kid - Technically the Bismarck was a Pocket Battleship more on the tonnage of a Battlecruiser NOT a Full Fledged Battleship. An yes it was a lucky shot that penetrated the weak upper armour of the HMS Hood and hit the powder Magazine below decks.
