Default Cali. All Corvette show (3rd...)

Joanne and I drove up to Fairfield Ca. Sat. and entered their show Sun. The temp. was 108 in Fairfield! We do not eeeeven want to know what it was on the black asphalt (Cheverolet Dealership) parking lot..umm,mmm,mmm is an understatement Anyway, when all the rays had fallen...we managed a 3rd in our catagory and, was also lucky enough to receive a sponsor trophy. Sorry! I did not take any pictures...just too damn hot!!! Needless to say, (by the marks below) we somehow managed to sabatoge or showing with the intensional clean (fiber) rag on the air cleaner & visibal luggage ...Muddy

Gator: Yes..to protect the hood paint...I laid it on there very evenly and nice'ly... I guess, what ya have to do..is watch for the judges, and when they get close, remove it, then put it back on...

Nice job but to deduct for a protective rag on the air cleaner With a car as nice as yours they really had to dig for points to gig you on.

I agree BKDean... I don't know how the judges stayed out there for so long... approx. 3.5 hr's. I think they did a great job under the circumstances

GQ82: Thanks! Yea, we've been to a few shows now (with some great results) and needless to say...beginning to understand the judges rational. The rational is: the car must be perfect
