Default Removable rear window

Can someone take some pictures of the rear window area on a 69-72 Vette. I've just recently come to find that mine is missing pieces around the area where the pins from the window fit in. So if anyone could post or send me pictures of the area where the removable window sits I would appreciate it.

Thanks that helps. One thing I couldnt tell from your pictures is whether or not there are little standoffs towards the center of the window sill that are supposed to hold up the window.

There are 2 little nubs in the middle portion of the sill that I believe ar to hold up the back trim piece. On my car they don't trouch the window only the trim piece.

Thanks. I think because my car is missing the plastic guides and the metal plate that holds the plastic guides, the window sits lower than it should and appears to rest on the one remaining nub. My latches barely catch at the top of the window, and now I know why.

Mine doesn't have the interior trim installed, but I'll try to take a look tonight at what I have in the 70.

Default Rear Window

I have a 1970 vette and the rear window has two posts coming from the bottom of where the window sits, which goes into the rear window itself, then it has two spring loaded clamps on the top of the rear window that you lift up to take the window out, or flip down when you put the window in. I am new on this site and still have to figure out how to post a pix, Cheers, Sherry
