Default 74 Un-Molested

Word had gotten out that I am into Vett's now and I am getting leads on a different one all the time.

This is a un molested, 74, 350 auto, t tops. Brown

Has been garaged most of the last ten years. Started once a month. Needs new carpet, interior cleaned, new paint and both rubber bumbers replaced as they are completly rotten. Second owner, has documents etc. All original.

What should I offer considering I will need to spend around $6000 to bring back to perfect??

$6000? Plan on spending a lot more than that. Unless you can tackle everything yourself. A decent paint job alone would eat up most or all of that budget.

He turned down 6K, and I am thinking that is all the money. In looking at prices on NCRS publications , 12K, ready to go??????

I will let him sit on it for a while longer.

For the amount of work that it needs, $6k would seem reasonable. I would think that the seller has more sentimental value in this car, and is thinking that it is worth more than it really is.

Way to go! I'm glad I didn't jump into a few of the Vette's I looked at. I've ended up finding better deals by being patient.
