wiper door opens when started
What dores it mean when the wiper door opens when my car is started,the wipers will work when then turned on and go back down when switched off, but door will stay open? All replies appreciated. the car is a 70 .

My favorite answer for wiper door and headlights coming up when the car is started is the check valve. I would think your check valve is not working properly. There is also a vaccum switch that is operated by the wiper arm located under the passengers side wiper arm. This switch tells the wiper door actuator to shut the door and the wipers are home.
