Ignition Wiring Problem
I just bought a 71 Vette that had a deactivated aftermarket alarm. After carefully removing all the wires, the car will not start. You don't even hear a click. Started fine before. I need to know where the wiring goes. The alarm had a wire that was hooked to the igniton fuse box. I did not cut any wires when the alarm was taken out. Any help would be appreciated.

A lot of alarms split the wire to the starter. So if you removed the wires from each side of that wire (probably a good size red) and did not put the two original ends back together, you get nothing. Nada, zip. Trace the red wire from the starter until you find a break. That should, hopefully be it.
