Default Stripped '69 Vert

'69 Corvette Convertible that was stolen and stripped, then recovered by the insurance company. This is an insurance claim settlement vehicle. It is missing the engine/transmission, interior, both convertible tops and wheels. It was equipped with a manual transmission, we do not know what version of engine it had. There is a detectable amount of rust on frame. All body panels appear to be original. Paint code is #976 LeMans Blue.

Looks like a heck of a project. Bet you could get it for a song, though...

Never be worth it to fix and sell with the salvage title, but would sure make a decent project for someone who would want to fix 'er and keep 'er.

Hey, does anybody know if a 69 body can be lifted off and bolted onto a 81 rolling chasis?

It's only nuts, and bolts,so the sky is the limit!Physically,it will bolt up,cause all the body mount locations are the same from 63 to 82,but you'll have to splice in the rear section of a 68-73 frame to mount the bumpers,or fab.You can drill the front frame horns,so no issue there. It'll work.

That car is not that far gone. Salvage title wouldn't scare me. Go for it!!
