Default painted interior

I saw a c3 this summer, at the st. ignace, mi car show with a painted interior. It was a beautiful car. It was a burgandy color and the interior was painted the same. Does anyone here own this car or know who does? Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics as my camera was locked in my buddy's corvette. I would like to talk to this guy or see some pics of more painted interiors. And I don't mean painting random pieces- the dash and the door panels were smoothed and painted body color.

if you plan on painting vynle/interior parts that flex... make sure you have the flex additive added... if not, it'll crack..... alot of minitrucks do painted dashes... some fiberglass over them and just finish them that way so they are a bit more solid

anyone have any pics? I would definitely add a flex agent, but do people wipe some plastic over the dash after they pull the vinyl? or?? what do the minitrucks do? I would imagine that you would want to peel the material off everything, and possibly reinforce it, wipe it with some plastic to bring the thickness closer to original and paint. The paint is not a prob- it's the prep that I'm curious about.

I painted my lower dash and consoles along with a few other parts. I used Krylon Fusion. It took me more time to clean than to paint. I had to remove paint from a couple of the pieces because they didn't turn out right. But after more cleaning they were fine. Overall I was very pleased with the results.

These parts were originally dark brown.

I'm actually looking at the custom look, a finish like the outside of your vehicle instead of a stock vinyl look.
