just heard from the guy, he says title error again. He said shifter plate reads 2 3 D, i think mine says 1,2,3. Title error highly unusual, whats the error? Vin says 81, title says 81, car is an 82. Thats not an error thats a tag job.

I just check their inventory and the vin# in the ebay add is for a twotone 81 that they have for sale. Also their site has the ebay car listed as an 81 , but the actual vin for it is an 82 vin. So it is an 82 on ebay. There a several typo errors. If your not afraid of ebay, I would'nt be afraid to bid on that car. But it is a Cross-fart. I prefer to see and touch a car before I buy.

The car sold on Ebay today for $11,551.51
They had responded to some of the year of mfg questions admitting that it was a 1982 car but they never changed the vin listed. I am sure they will work it all out with the new buyer in time. It looks like he got a very pretty car regardless.

Corvette Auto has a Ebay Feedback rating of 100%. So if there was anything shady going on, it would show up in their feedback. Somebody prolly got a nice car at a reasonable price. I still want to touch it before I buy it.
