Where do you live? Younger girls love Corvettes in this part of the country.

You don't use the C3 to pick up women--that take's smooth talking as usual.

It's best use is to entertain and seduce them once you've picked them up. Nothing says road trip like a C3.

As for Sonic, I have fed Larisa at the Sonic near NC Western University several times.

As OneDef would say, that's a sweet power steering rack...but it appears to be OEM, not a bolt on system!

Do it fast, no one sees. He retaliates, and he gets in trouble. Just like when football players fight. The second guy is always the one who gets the penalty.

weve got that zero tolerence crap out here. with it, the beatee gets in just as much trouble as the beater.

my old high school rule book was full of BS. you couldnt even defend your self in a fight with out risking expulsion. it said if your being attacked you should not fight back and immedietly run to an adult.

not like that deterred fights much, they just happend in an empty room or hallway then.

Don't you love when the school protects the bullies more than the kids they pick on?

That just means you have to teach the word "NO" to the parents first.

Like when they say, "Take your foot off my throat..." you say..."NO."

To clarify my position- I am old-47-by the "pick up girls" scale. In 1979, when I was 20 and my car was new, I wouldn't have been caught dead in one. By that time Corvettes were lame in performance, and mostly used by double-knit, leisure suit clad disco dudes with afro-perms and cocaine. I believe the term was "***** extender". There were a few Pontiacs made in the mid 70s that still had *****, but the whole car seen was very politically uncool. The "IN" crowd drove VWs, Hondas, Toyotas, and the other "compact" cars. They were not rice back then, they just made sense. There were no mods, and very little service, you just put in $5 gas and go!
Thank goodness times have changed. There's something for everyone now, and everything is "IN"
I do not use the vette to pick up chicks. I've got a hot younger wife (-8 yrs.) and we've been together 20 yrs. The car is just my toy. Track time is my drug of choice, and street time is just testing.
However--EVERY time I'm out in that car I get the "NICE CAR!" from some girl. It wouldn't be hard to get a passenger. I just like the attention. This car looks so cool from 20+ feet away!
Cars have very strong meanings to each generation. Anyone out there over 80 yrs. strived to reach "Cadillac status" for their whole career.
Sports cars were for rich enthusiasts to drive spirited or take a little getaway for TWO. (insert hot babe on hood photo here.)
Question- What will the tuner crowd aspire to?

As far as OD's nomenclature, you're talking about the same thing.

However, I'd need a pic of the differential unit to make an informed choice!!!

anyone says anything to me about poluting the air, ruining the ozone etc., I say hell yes I am and I am Damn proud of it The like of the tree huggers make me ill, they drive their little cars(maybe or take a bike) but the rich hollywood type then live in huge house that sucks electricity down, h20, natural gas etc. and they fly all over the place to make flicks, enivironmentalist....hardly. Poor ones hold their signs or protest but they still live somewhere and use energy, oil and cars are a big easytarget, but industry is a bigger problem. The worst problem is there is to many humans on earth and we all create pollution. Solution: we all die and earth is saved. Want to save our planet treehuggers, plant yourself in the ground for fertilizer.
