I'm going to install new pillar post covers on my 73. Anyone done this? Not sure what I'm getting into. Thank's, ABS 73

I replaced them on my father's 75. Not too bad. I ordered the pieces from Wilcox. I think they are made by Corvette America. There are I believe 2 screws and some plastic velcro tabs that hold them in place. You will need to take the center cover down as well (just screws hold it in place) as the outer pillars extend under the center cover. The new pieces did not come pre-drilled, so I had to drill holes and then use an awl to line up the hole with the stock screw holes. It took a little tweaking here and there, but with a little patience it will be a pretty easy replacement.

Not much to it. Got the AIM? Picture of the whole set up in the AIM.

My advice is to buy the best quality replacements you can locate. Lots of folks report poor fit with the cheaper versions.
