Tattoos

Yes it is Corsairs and Zeros too, the EGA on back of my arm I didn't post, its pretty good as well.
I have a large tattoo on my right arm that took 12 hours. The bottom of it can be seen if my sleeve lifts up a bit. I am going to get another large one on my left arm; I love sleeves but don't have the guts to get them. It's a shame how some people perceive tattoos...

But on the other hand I've seen alot of tattoos on faces of people. I appreciate a cool tat, but on the face don't get it. For now though I'll repeat Duh a hundred times to make myself feel better!
If you are confident altering your appearance has no reprocussions in your future, then go for it, freedom is a beautiful thing.
A tatoo is art, an expression of oneself - some hide it, some show it - it's just expressed differently for each individual.
Owning one is apprecitating one...kinda like C3's, some are mild and some are wild, but they are an expression of the owner

Ok, I just got my wife to take these for me now...
This is the wanted poster for the Kelly Gang. As you could imagine, 8000 pounds would have been a FORTUNE in 1880! The helmet is what he and the Kelly Gang wore during the shootout as well as body armour under their riding coats. "Such Is Life" were the words Ned said before the trapdoor opened on the gallows.

This is a copy of the illustration that appeared in several newspapers the day after the shootout

Obviously, I like the rebel theme and have been told on occasion that I'm a rebellious ba$tard. The slouch hat is what Australian military forces have practically always worn and the flag is the Australian "rebel" flag

I can't show you a picture of it as I don't shave my head anymore but I have one of these on the right side of my head - just the rebel thing again I guess!

This one is on my right butt cheek. I was walking past a butcher shop one day and saw a beef carcass hanging up with the same stamp on it, with the same watery pink coloured ink and it seemed like a good idea if I had one!

I currently live and work in Saudi Arabia on a contract where Aussies are outnumbered 5:1 by Brits, so the head and bum tats were a "stand up and be counted" type tats!
I am 40 years old next month and didn't get my first tattoo until I was 33 years old. I've been sober every time and have gone in to the tattooist with exactly what I want in mind. Personally I would not get my face tattooed or anywhere that could be seen if I was to wear minimal clothes for work, ie, shorts and T shirt.
However, I have absolutely no problems with people that do have facial etc tattoos. I have been $hit on over the years by people with and without tattoos, so I don't see that as a factor other than tattooed people aren't afraid to do what they want.
Again, personally I would not get any facial piercings. Mainly because I think it would HURT!!!! But I just don't think they would suit me. If someone wants to get pierced, go for it! I do have an earring...
I can understand an employer not wanting to emply someone with facial tattoos or piercings as there are still plenty of people around that associate tats and piercings with criminals. Wrong to be like that, but that's the world we live in. I said I understand it, not condone it...
Phew, that was long winded. Any questions?
