I have been reading this thread with interest, now it's time for my comments.

I have several tattoos, including an early C3 crossed flags on my shoulder blade; I could care less what anyone else thinks about them, and if someone wants to judge me because of them, then they are probably not the kind of person I want to know anyways.

And my wife has a tattoo on the small of her back, and she is by no means a tramp.

Feel better now that you got that off your back ?

I was NOT judging anyone nor calling anyone a tramp. I stated i don't care for tattoos,
which is " MY CHOICE ", and stated that here in my area, we call those TATS that go all the way across a womans lower back a tramp stamp, just a name. I even told JET DOC his looked nice..........and explained many of my close friends have them, " THEIR CHOICE"

so i'm hoping this clears the air C-3 Brother......"YOUR CHOICE"

The above is starting to sound serious. Maybe a little to serious for me but my story is that I'm 53 years old, a professional by trade and don't care too much for the long hair, beards, body pearsings and all that rot. Well, at least not in my profession and on the job. Not too cool for the general public that is our source of business. Now for my personal life, that is a different story. I've got a couple of nice tats, up on my biceps that don't show if I were short sleave shirts and a couple on my back. Had an ear ring once but decided to let it go since it was too much hassle from the ultra-conservatives and those on the other extreme if you know what I mean. If I live long enought to retire in a couple more years, I'm growing an Abe Lincoln and shaving my head...kinda like ZZ Top without having to blow dry my hair if you know what I mean. My daughter is 23 now and brought home a couple of new tats the other day but they were really artistic. At her age, she's holding down a decent job, making her own way and very much her own person. I'm sitting here thinking that if that is all I have to complain or worry about, I'm a very, very lucky person.

jetdoc your welcome.

Glenn, all I can say is WOW!!

I have a band of about 4 inches wide on my right ankle, total of about 4 hours......3 different tattoos.

My wife has tatoos on her left leg, upper left back and lower back.

That being said, I still have not read this thread

It's your own personal choice & i just think they look trashy on women, especially that big !!!

Here on the Island, thats what they are called, tramp or not, they call all tats on the lower back a tramp stamp for whatever it's worth..........sorry i offended you .......... PEACE !!
sounds to me after you put your foot in your mouth you started back pedaling. I have no tatoos or earings but could care less if people do or dont, let people be themselves.Sounds to me you should have a C5

JetDoc, Nice ink and well layed out.
I too have several large pieces of artwork/ink/tats that all have personal meaning to mean. Being a professional, mine can be concealed if I were to choose (both biceps/shoulders and forearm) but I pretty much choose to display them. I am constantly recieving compliments on the quality and designs.
To each his own. Live and let live. Some people don't like them (too bad) and others do.
I too love the "Vette Girl" tattoo. Makes for excellent target practice.
PS. My tat guy just purchased a 2002 Vette, his first.

My friend's 23 year old son put a lightning bolt from his forehead above his left eye down to his cheek. Shocking when you first see it.

Thanks man and I totally agree with you, excellent points. I can cover up if I choose or not cover up. If I cover its not because I'm worried what someone may think of me, I could care less, I cover up because it does bring out the curiosity in folks. Its cool and all but sometimes I do not feel like talking about them.

BTW, I love tattoos on chicks, its sexy. My wife has one. That "Vette Girl" is hot and her tattoo is hot as well.
