I'm watching TV now... what do they call those auction employees that go into the crowd and relay bids and try to get the bidders to go higher... fluffers? Didn't I see that guy at Carlisle? He is pretty funny.. missing a digit if I recall.
After I took that picture, some azzhol walked up,and started leafing thru the book binder.....but he set it down right on the paint with the corner rubbing on the fender...as he turned pages..
A older couple, who had won bid on a 442 Olds, could not figure out how to open the hood...or start the car..
Another couple was getting in cars, taking pictures of each other when signs stated clearly everywhere,NOT TO TOUCH CARS>>>
And finally, the wind was blowing hard all day,and all cars in tents outside had layers of dust about 1/16" thick from the dry dead grass....
Yeah..the big tent...all you have to do is just walk in where the cars enter for bidding...lot's of confusion there...
Good luck at your show...

Entrants pay $1800 to park inside this area...and only if their car is in the top rung for auction...

Yes, $90k for a restored 67 435 hp coupe looked cheap to me too, but especially when the hemi CLONE/RECREATION goes for... what $130?? and the shelby mustang and a 69 Z-28 goes for the same $$. Vettes look cheap in comparison.

That is a good point....trend is big money for the "recreations"...especially ones with 502's or hemi's.....
