Decided yesterday I had better add some anti-freeze to my 73 since it is in my unheated "work" garage for the Winter. Just to make sure the "fresh stuff" was in the block I drove it down the road.
Last year I replaced the original 454 with a roller, aluminum head, torque monster BB and added a TKO 500 just for good measure. Replaced the interior and of course added 17" TTII's. All that $$$ spent last year NOW seems like a good investment. Gonna repaint the car with motion striping this year to accentuate the L-88 hood and drive the heck out of it. Then it will look as good as it drives. Love these 73's!

Hey neighbor. Bet yer glad that you drove it yesterday. Too darn cold today to do much. -4* sux up here in NW Ohio. Wondering if Eastern KY is any warmer? Sounds like your 73 is really coming along. Maybe I'll swing down to your neck of the woods some day and get a chance to admire it.

Yeah -- nice and balmy here in Dayton...luckily my 73 vert is in a heated garage awaiting warmer temps so it can be painted. I guess I'll have to wait til spring...

Cheers,

Crunch

I woke up to -1 and wind chills of -20 here in Mi. Spring can't get here soon enough for me to get the 73 out.
