besides the big cracks, I filled in the vent holes, top and sides, and the speaker holes with expanding foam. Yes, the dash is in my basement, not the car. I don't run ducts anymore and the rest of the dash was terrible so I decided to do the whole thing over.

how do you want the dash to look?.

if you want it smooth then fiberglass and sanding is the way
fabric wrap is easy
you can do vynle or just take it to an upholstry shop

I know that there is a way to repair cracks in the top area. Last year my Original windshield was replaced and the Bubba that did the work cracked the top of the dash. (also cracked the first of 2 windshields) Anyway, after I cooled off, they said to pick the car up the next day and it would be fixed. They called someone and the dash looks like NEW. You cat tell it was ever cracked. Im sure that if you call a body shop, they must kinow of a dash repair company in your area.
Good luck

how bout this

2 layers of matte resin.... keep it flowing for the resin... sand then fill....then paint...... you need the matte to keep it from crackin.... also, do it while its in the car.... installed so you know it fits when it dries.... i didnt pods for my door panels and i did it with the panels off the doors...well, after the fact, the panels didnt fit right....
