tire skates.
Anyone have a set of tire skates that actually work? I bought a set of economy ones (wood) that worked, but not that great. took alot of effort to get the car to move. I went this weekend and upgraded to the all metal middle grade ones. I swear i think these are worse.

I bought a set of metal skates, and I even pulled the casters apart and greased everything...like I do to my engine stand wheels...and these skates are crap. Not I just put transmissions and transfer cases on them. The roll fine for that...but with a car it like they are not even there.

I have been through numerous skates over the years and found these to be the best. You will be sorry if you buy the cheap ones. Pick out ones that have the largest wheel you can find (mine are 3.5" and ball bearing). Anything smaller and they don't "caster" very well and takes lots of force to get them to change direction.
