I did start on my fixed lights though.
I wasnt too fond of the square bulbs so I made some brackets and squeezed in the round ones. the factory bezels will also work with some minor cutting.

I deciced to pull the trigger on the Ridetech rear suspension. It's less invasive on the car than a backhalf and retains some of the cars personality.
I used 2:75 gears out of a Galaxie, A Yukon housing and Yukon posi. Ridetech was very helpful sorting out the snags, and I am happy with it so far.
Tom's 31 spline outers and Billet yokes
and now for something completely different, a SBC!!
I never thought a 350 would be a second choice for a hotrod, but the LS has pretty much taken over.
O well, I'll stick to what I know and have a horde of parts for.
The valve covers are easy to remove and the spark plugs are not too bad either.
There are plenty of stubborn bolts to make up for it.
Yes that is the stock fan shroud and a (power robbing) flex fan.
I use the wideband for A/F ratio and the EGT gauges help setting the timing tables for the XFI.
I added recall to the boost gauges and use them to check drive pressure and IC pressure drop. Besides, I like gauges.
And built a stinger inspired scoop to cover it all up.
The car is mostly sorted out and I'll try to post any updates as I go.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Thats where the fun ends and the brutal block sanding begins
I used G2 featherfill and after blocking that, used Akzo Nobel Lesonal primer
I planned on painting the car white, but rethinking possibly silver or grey
1974 center grill and 90mm Hella update
I modified the factory bezel to fit
Changed the wheels, added a rear spoiler, and shortened the hood scoop a tad so I can see
and made some sidepipes
The top mount intercooler worked well but visibility was horrible so I decided to use water/methanol spray instead and I think the car looks better with the shorter scoop.

Big thanks to my buddy Rob for spraying this. It wasn't as ready as I thought but he got me all sorted out.
it looks like an art exhibit
taping is its own skill, I definitely had help
then all of a sudden it starts to look like a car
happy trees
after all of this, putting it back together will be fun
The outer trim ring is recycled from the original light. I machined the lens to snap into it, and use set screws to hold it all together. The LEDs are truck lights with the flange trimmed off, they fit inside the Camaro lenses The rings are made from 5" exhaust tubing with tabs welded on that fit the factory holes.
Factory looking custom lights
definitely brighter than the old 1157 bulbs
I made 68-69 style parking lights and used Harley white/amber LED turn signals
they are bright af WARNING sun glasses zone
hats off to Vero for making some mighty fine seat covers. They match the originals' construction very well and are a nightmare to install. (my first time)
Getting in the short rows when it starts looking like this. I tried something different on the inserts instead of wood or just black.
I wrapped the E-brake console with the same material.
I made some projector shrouds and deleted the bezels. Making covers that match the curve of the body has been a challenge, these are ok for now.
ai cleaned up my shop and added some fog lol
