have sidepipes on my corvette but i gotta go with the magnaflow,
i have had both magnaflow and flowmaster on past vehicles
and found the flowmasters to be droning where the magna flows
sounded nice at cruise and even better once you put your foot
in it.
they remind me of the old cherry bomb turbo mufflers you could get
back in the late 70s and early 80s

Belongs in the General section. Not a tech question.

I still have the St Louis factory mufflers on mine.
With headers and dual exhausts for 20 years. there is not much muffling.

My 72 base 350 had Midas Gold muffs when I bought it. It was quieter than my wife's Sebring convertible. I put a set of standard Turbos....installed at my favorite exhaust shop....$109.00 ... out the door!

The mufflers that turn heads are
Flowmasters . No one has ever matched the sound. Not for everyone, but the 40's have a truly awesome sound opened up....

It used to be in tech. Good point though...every thread he posts that in will look like he's lost his marbles once it's actually moved.
