Default Sorry need wheel help

I tried to do a search but did not have good results.
So can someone tell me the correct stock, wheel size and back spacing for a 1973 convertible?
I am thinking of purchasing another set of wheels and tires for a little different look.
Really do not want to make any modifications to the car itself though.
I am however open to suggestions.

Stock wheels are 15 x 8 with 4" backspacing.
Make sure the new wheels fit. Most will not because of the calipers.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the stock wheels. Just want to change it up from time to time.

An inexpensive and easy way for a different look, compared to the price of aftermarket wheels these days, would be the later style factory aluminum wheels. Have them on my 68 for the same reason you mentioned.
I like ralleys too, but I was after a different look, and the later rims still say Corvette

They'll all fit
I think the years they were available were from 76-82, but the 80-82's have the polished finish(others were a machined finish)

My wheels are off an 80, picked them up from a Vette shop for $400, but new sets are available from the Corvette vendors for a little over a grand

For pix see My Corvette Photos under my avater, I can take more if you are seriously interested in going this route

Yes this might be a good option. I did look at your photos however due to the size it’s hard to see much.
I would be interested in additional photos if it’s not too much trouble.

There's also a chrome plated version of this wheel available now. Ecklers & Corvette Central both have it.....

Thanks for the photos those wheels look great.
I saw a set of those Saturday at Vettefest in Chicago. They appeared to be in fair condition $565 for the set.
I did not purchase, as I am not yet sure what wheels I want. This may be the way to go though.
Anyone else have a suggestion?

If you like the chrome YJ8 Wheels, (Factory 80's style, but in chrome) check out Wilcox corvette part suppliers, I just bought a set from them for $950 + 100 shipping. they were on my door step in three days, very happy with the look. Unfortunately, my car is packed away for the winter yet, so i havent been able to put them on. Otherwise, TT2's look hott on steele bumper cars

I have a set like the ones above in my basement that my buddy took off of his '76 though they don't look as polished. His wheel have the red line on them for some reason. Someone once said they are pace car wheels? I've been asking him to do something with them for a while since they're sitting in MY garage. He's not out to sell them, but he once told me he would for $650 with the tires an all.. Let me know if you want me to contact him.
Here is as good a picture as I have before and after:

I'll try to take some pictures tonight if I get a chance. The wifey wants to take the kids out to dinner. That should be fun.
