Wow, I got some good therapy in today. I had been kind of bummed out lately because the money I had saved for my new engine went elsewhere in the household. Well, I'm about all saved up again and I'll be ordering this week. So today I started to tackle all these little projects I had lined up. To start I took a bottle of degreaser to the engine bay. I went in with a scrubbie pad and got the worst of the stuff off. Then I hit it hard with a pressure washer. Next I got to what I could see on the frame and POR-15'd it. The marine clean, mteal ready and two coats of paint. The whole nine yards. That takes a long time by the way. I have POR all over my arms from bumping into things, my boss is not gonna be happy, oh well. I pretty much ruined the pants I was wearing, my wife wasn't happy... another oh well. But the engine bay is starting to look good and I had a blast! I'm gonna mask everything off and spray a flat back on everything else. Then all new wiring harnesses. WOOHOO! Workin on the car did wonders for my soul. Hopefully I'll be driving again in the next three months. Here's a pic of me being happy.

Lookin' GOOD! Oh, I'll pass on this tidbit..... use Krylon Semi-flat black on the engine bay. It's a perfect match for the semi-dull paint from the factory. Also, flat black is a bi**h to clean.
