that is close, i would be worried about it hitting when under a hard load like a good launch. you seriously dont have any issues with it that close while at wot? if you dont that is great.

I run a Victor Jr manifold with a 4 inch air element with the filter top under my stock hood. I just use a drop base air cleaner. And I still have enough room to squeeze in a nitrous plate.

Do you know the total height from the carb flange to the top of the lid? Summit is saying that it's 4.25" which seems awfully high for a drop base and 3" tall filter.
