Default General Motors achives

Does anyone know if GM achives original invoices or production info on corvettes that could be looked up with vin #. I would love to be able to see for sure how the car was originally ordered.

Searching the forum is your friend.....
There have been many posts along these lines in the past and since you are a noob I will cut you some slack
The production info was supposedly lost many years ago for St Louis but the build sheets for any vehicle made at Bowling Green are available from the Museum.
The delivery notes which contain all the info you require are available for 77 and later vehicles for a fee from a company whose name I can't recall off the top of my head. Used to be free until the demand got too high then GM passed it off to a commercial crowd.

The answer to your question is "No". GM did not keep the original records for Corvettes until the plant moved to Bowling Green, KY. Many sources/vendors have tried to re-create that info; some is legit, and some is however you tell them to make it.

The only thing you can do is pull your gas tank down and hope the build sheet for your car is still on it.
