^^ Decision amongst C3 Moderators ^^
Other people have pointed out that if you do not know the thread title it is hard to get the specific thread you want. I have searched sometimes under the post person's name to actually find what I need.
But the biggest improvement would be the saving of pics. Some members have done such bang up job documenting their work with pics (which helps us "hunter-gatherers"), only to lose it in the archives.
If someone knows of an index of tech articles I would love to know of it. I read a lot before I do something. I save as much as I can in a separate file.
I have many many in-depth posts that I took many hours assembling
and posting. Sadly, my hard drive crashed (home server) and many pix are gone.
After that, I tried to save/publish in PDF format ... then lost interest.
The archives cannot be editted. One or two I re-created with new pix location ... too much work.
Anyway ... have you looked at corvettefaq.com ?
There are many docs and threads that are archived.
Now get going on that body-off resto ... no more posting on this topic.
so, to these time wasters i'd strongly ask to spare us all the
this place is a forum, not a school classroom...and the people who come here are all members, not teachers and pupils, all of them deserve the same respect...those who are delighted to be considered 'professor' should rather get a job in a pubblic school to satisfy their ego, and those who dream to be moderators should apply to the administrator and try to get appointed. simple...
said this, i wish all of you a delightfull night and a better tomorrow morning.
i go to sleep

This thread has played out, and all members were given the opportunity to share their thoughts/opinions.
Remember that this is a privately owned forum, and the owner establishes the format and rules, therefore, there needs to be consistency between all generations/sections and no one section will be permitted to sway from the norm.
With that said, here is the bottom line:
We have a General and a Technical/Performance section. I have given some examples in the sticky thread above concerning each section. The two sections will remain independent, and threads in General that belong in Tech, will be moved accordingly, and vice-versa.
We will allow the C3 "brotherhood," to share some OT info amongst themselves, but, all thread moves are still at the discretion of the section Moderators.
