I'm going to guess that the majority of those doors have rusty steel frames. I have a spare pair just like them laying outside that I will get rid of as soon as I pull the glass out of them. I have a nice clean pair of AZ doors to replace them but they have broken glass.

The old doors look great from the outside but...

You're right, unfortunately the doors are rusty. Guess nothing can be done to save them?

Heading back Saturday, will pull the 68 door out and send you a picture. The price will be "cheap", shipping will be an issue.

If there are other "gems" in the pictures that anyone wants, let me know.

Pictures like these make me wonder...about what precentage of C3's built are dead and gone, never to see a road again.

It's hard to imagine what they once were and what they went thru to get where they are now.

Interesting post.
Thanks for sharing.

Where are those photos taken? Is that from McGhees in Lebanon? I know he tried to sell out about 2 years ago on Ebay, never found out what happened. I have been to a lot of the junkyards in Nashville area, but never seen that stuff. Interesting.
