Man what a difference that made to the ride. Sling shot fast, smooth on the road. Fun. Wish I had the extended driving season you have.
Enjoy the ride, very nice 77 you have there.

Thanks man, I really like the 2 77's you have...I have done just about everything either new or rebuilt... I was getting ready to do the lt-4 hotcam package next but got hit on the freeway with a bunch of crap so now getting new paint and windshield first... I did a new 4 core rad and also going to put in an elec fan system very soon.found the set up i want just need to pull the trigger...I also am going to get a new set of bilsteins founf 4 for 260.00 nice price... then next year im going the 700r4 set up with 3:55's and 2200 stall... that will make up for the hotcam package for now..

It will never be like some of these but it's servicable, neat and I'm happy with it now on my 76.

Its not bad at all ,as you can see in my avatar when the hood is shut you only see the scoop and the scoops not that big,but if i went with a bigger blower ,then it would be a different story, you would have a big obstruction with the bigger blowers.I might be able to get everything under the hood with a holley low profile wedge breather, they cost around $300 .when i get tired of the scoop i will purchase the breather,i have another L88 hood.

Here's a short drive in my 69 Chevelle. 502 fuel injected 871 BDS blower. Crummy video, but you get the idea. Just a hole in the hood.

Nice one but I cannot honestly believe you still have it, Glenn. Maybe spring will bring you a buyer and not tire thumpers. Good luck.

Is there any chance you have a U-Tube video of this when it is running? I would love to hear the sound this beauty makes.

Default sounds

This isn't a supercharged, high horsepower but it is a 76 L48 idling with true duals through bullet cat converters and new flowmaster mufflers just after the exhaust system behind the engine compartment was junked and the duals put on. It sounds better for two reasons, the old system had leaks and was dead and the pellet cat converter was probably trash and the new mufflers and twice or more the exhaust flow through lets the engine breath better. You can see at the tail of the video the engine running. I'm a good still photographer but suck at video so bear with me. Also, when the camera was the the rear and held down the sound overwhelmed the camera's mics a little so it sounds like the engine is going faster..it's not, it's just sound bouncing off driveway and back and seeming like double.

Here is my 383 in the 74:

I have quite a bit pulled off at the moment to do a repair. I have quite a few other dress-up parts that need to be put on as well.
