Nice engines guys,but it made me think how GM really dropped the ball on engine looks,for god sakes its a corvette,there should have been alot more bling on the newer vettes,no chrome or aluminum valve covers,better looking breather perhaps
,theres alot GM could have done,but they did nothing

I'm not trying to be rude or silly or anything...
...but are these before and after shots?they seem to clearly be different photos(maybe taken at different times? different cameras? different lighting?) shot from the same angle...but I spent a long time comparing the images, and for the life of me I don't find any changes ...am I missing it?

Thanks. It was tedious and time consuming, but believe it or not I had a great time doing it. My back didn't like being bent over those fenders for hours at a time though! 
I just used several different finishes of good quality, fast dry rattle can Blacks. Flat, Satin, Semi-Gloss and Gloss.
On various small places/parts, I used a Black Permanant Magic Marker/SHARPIE. Can you tell where? lol

I can't change the sticker, I have to keep the purists happy....
Although I did think about throwing the 350 270hp sticker on it and taking it to "import night" at the local shopping center and see how many I can get with it.....
