The motor stock was GM rated 405 at the crank. Add cam, heads, and headers (no cats) and probably good for another 80-100, add Supercharger for another 100-120 at 7psi. So at the crank I figure maybe 580-600 so maybe 525 at the rear wheels, maybe more. I'm hoping the car will come in at least a couple hunder lighter than stock so power-weight should be sweet.
Unfortunately it will get a little cluttered up once all the crap is piled in there but I'm trying to make it neat and clean as possible.
How did you get the upper rad hose to accept the stainless sleeve?? I can't get mine on...too many curves to get it around or do you suggest a new hose? Any comments would be appreciated.
Domer.
Here's the engine in my '70 LT-1.
It's a Hilborn injected (Accel DFI run) 387 inch stroker with a forged Scat crank & rods.
There have been some updates since this picture was taken, but ostensibly this is how it looks.
I am working on my bay now and notice that Bubba painted the firewall and the paint is flaking off. What is the best way to clean it up and paint it to look new?
