Part it out and buy one with a good frame and birdcage. You will not have down time and no Corvette to drive. It will cost more to fix yours than to buy a replacement of the same year and part yours out.

I've seen alot of Ohio cars. Sight unseen, I'd bet you a bale of Maui Wowie (& I don't even smoke) that your frame and bird cage are both gone. You could buy a much better replacement for much less money than trying to fix that one. Right now, there is a 1976 down in Florida for $5900. Much better option.
BTW...When your car is inspected at the repair shop and the frame turns out to be bad due to rot, I doubt they will pay.

The bird cage is fine, I pulled the windshield and there is no rot in there. There is light rust in the #2 and #3 body mount's. The frame has a weird crack through the drivers side right by the cross member. I'll get pics after I pull the body off.
