Iv'e hadf a set on order since March/April, at least they don't charge your card untill they ship. I ordered the race mufflers as the claim is about the same noise but less restriction. How long does it take to bend pipe?

The only concern I have is that the earlier C3s than their prototype vehicle has 2 different types of exits. My 73 has the square exit.

Its the only concern I have and other than that I am all about it.

I remember a thread a while back and they(pypes) were looking for test vehicles and found one. I thought it was a forum member but I'm not sure.

I also ordered a set with the race pro's as they said they would be a little quieter. They did charge my credit card as the pre-order special. I see they have taken the special price off their website now. Hope to see them next month sometime.

After loking at their webpage again, they have put the special back up.

they dont have down pipes ore headers for a BB car. Too baad. looks like real proos. i mean they tell you the important thing everyone else dont. The flow the muffler actually has.

It's been another month and a half.....

Any news on the pypes exhaust? Anyone got their system yet and more importantly has anyone installed and test run it?

So close to just placing the order for a set of hookers now, I am tired of waiting, the system was originally meant to be released back in april........I wonder what's the hold-up for what seems like a big professional company?

I have it for my '78 Firebird, but the system isn't going on the car until the 455 is done. They have a great reputation in the Pontiac world. I didn't know they were going to start making a Corvette system. Good news.

So I take it the answer is no, no-one has their pypes systems yet?

I agree with your sound comment 1Z87L8 but it is sometimes hard to make a judgment call on how an exhaust sounds from a recorded clip. That's why I was hoping someone had installed and tested one of these systems.
