A little confused here. Ok, that isn't news to anyone. Anyway, the best I can figure out is that a '69 came with 2 kick panel speakers rated at 4 ohms. Some of the threads that I researched seem to say that 8 ohm speakers would be better. '69 vert with side pipes and a half deaf driver. Origional radio. What would work best with this combo? Thanks in advance.

my 1970 radio specfies a 10 ohm speaker. since the radio out put is divided into right and left, i bought 4 ohm speakers from auto zone, and will wire two speakers in series (one in kick and one in dash) for each side. i think that high volume settings will overload the amp if you used 4 ohm speakers.
