Default HRE wheels?

Anyone have any experience with HRE wheels? Honestly Ive never heard of them, but Ive fallen in LOVE with the wheel below and they are one of the very few manufacturers who'll make the size wheel I want.

HRE are up ther ein the wheel world, with IForge, CCW etc etc, make very nice (and expensive) wheels.
You may want to chat on the C5, C6 or the GTO forums, they are popular over there.

Well, I just found a site with more information on these wheels. Its no wonder I live them at $1600 per wheel , I dont think I'll ever own them.

Second question, anyone seen wheels that look similar without the astronomical price?

Billet specialties has a number of wheels that look very much like the one you posted. You can get them at under $500 apiece and many are less. Here's one that goes for $435 on their site for a 17 x 8.

Here's one of my favorites, The Fastlane, at $420 a wheel.

Thanks for the link! I guess I better let the cat out of the bag so you can further understand my situation. Im looking for 18 x either 12 or 13...see my problem? I was looking for something that looked somewhat like an old road racing wheel in the larger dimension before I found the HRE wheel, so if anyone knows of anything like that let me know too.

try looking up Newstalgia wheels....they have a pretty good selection of 12" wide rims. I just ordered a set of Bonspeed Huntington's from them.

I have offset t-arms.
So i was thinking 17x8 w´4" back spacing on the front, and 17x9,5 w 5,5" back spacing on the rear.
But i might also consider 18" But think that will be to much rims on that car.
