Are you talking about the kit from Mid America?
If so, I really don't know why they wouldn't "fit" a '74 but will a '75+up.
However, have you seen them in person? I hadn't before I ordered a set. I was expecting them to match the contour of the bumper and have a nice attachment method. Instead, they are flat with a velcro fastening system.
I decided that my dull, cracked lenses looked better, and I promptly returned the kit.
