My 73 would have intermitted power no lights nothing one moment than power the next turn of the key i went for a ride when i came home and I turned my lights on they were on for about ten minutes and all of a sudden the car died. I checked all the ground straps and found the one at the block corroded I replaced it with a new one. what i also found was a red wire that attaches to the horn relay and to a orange wire burnt this wire is from the fwd lamp harn. i replaced it and power came back my question is should there be a fusable link in the red wie that burnt if so what size the wire is a #12 i do not see one on the wiring diagram

I'm not sure there is a fusible link at the horn relay. Check the AIM. If the link is there, the AIM will show it. There is no such fusible link on my '68, but things could have changed by '73.
