Default staggered setup

How do you think this sounds?

I've got a 1976:

On the rear 255/60-15
On the front 235/60-15
BF Goodrich Ratial T/A's

Anyone do a staggered setup? Whatcha think?

235s are too small.
Its just not worth staggering , going that close in size, you might as well just go 245/60s or 225/70s all the way around so you can rotate.

Hmmm...

what's the biggest difference between 225-70's and 245-60's? I'm looking for (at the bare minimum) a wide tire look in the back.

thanks!

Exactly my setup, same tires same sizes. Visually it's hard to see a difference, but when I had 255s on the front they rubbed on tight turns. Also the car seems to track better with the slightly skinnier tires in the front. When I get around to replacing the rear it'll be 275s back there and the rake/stagger will be more noticeable.

Here's a pic:

Yep that's my set-up, 255x60 rear & 235x60 front. Looks perfect, you can hardly see the diff in height & just slightly narrower. I had the 255x60 BFGs on the front but found it scrubbed the frame & made the car track road surface undulations. It drives hugely better now with 235s on the front

Would I have to do any modifications to go 275/60-15 in the back instead of the 255?

Staggering looks good. Personally I like the staggered wheel look as well.

First pic 235/60/15 and 255/60/15
Second pic 245/45/17 and 275/40/18

Great pix and advice folks! Thanks!!! I ended up going 225-70 15 in front, and 255-60 15 in back. Seems to work just fine!!! I'll post some pix up when I can get my camera here!
