Wonderful work there, and the flares don't look too cheesy or silly. The color is very unique and looks good, a bit of a surprize because I don't normally like green on a Vette.
The engine will run better with the vacuum advance hooked up. It will also get better fuel mileage and run cleaner.
I didn't say anything bad about the car and I don't think anyone else did, so, what are you talking about?

BBLK I appreciate your comments but the reason the vacuum advance is not hooked up is due to a real good reason. The distributer you see in the car is an MSD unit with the advance locked. What you don't see is a full MSD ignition system (hid behind the drivers side dash) that provides electronic advance along with an adjustable system that I can control with a rotary switch mounted on the console. So the electronics control the total advance and I can back timing out or add timing depending on the fuel I burn. This is a 12.5-1 compression engine that runs on 93 with a tad of octane boost and race fuel, if I detect knock (which I never have) I can manually reduce the timing. I hope this clears things up. Thanks for all the comments guys.
