That's actually about right. It took me a little over two months I think to get mine. Sometimes people get lucky and get it sooner but it's a home business and the builder has a real job too.

Have you tried emailing him?

It took about a month to get my controller, then another month to get the filter so I can run it directly off of the alternator.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that he should hand over distribution to someone else...

Customer of mine ordered one on July 5. My customer recieved a email from him stating that his controller wsa going through testing and would be shipped shortly.
I remember when I ordere mine it took 10 weeks to get and only got a response from him when the item was ready to ship.
I plan on ordering another controller from him and will plan the installation accordingly(time wise)

I ordered my DCC controller in June and it took 7 weeks for delivery. Finally got around to installing it this weekend and the temperature sensor was missing. Yikes. Last thing I wanted to do was wait another 7 weeks or more. I emailed Baskin at DCC this morning and he replied within minutes. Said he didn't have a sensor in stock, but he would make one and get it sent out Fedex today.
