Alrighty thanks alot. Boy does it ever get hot when there isnt any carpet at all lol
There are a couple other things you can do to keep the heat down. Make sure the air vent on the passenger side is closing all the way. Hot air may be coming in from that vent.
Also, install a manual shutoff valve in one of the heater hoses going to the heater core. This will make sure no hot fluid is in the core during the summer when you don't need it.
Hmm, is there documentation as to where and how to add that. And I have been dieing to ask but a little embarressed, but where do i get an AIM and what does it stand for. Sorry I'm new

The heater hose that comes off of the water pump is the hose you would want the valve in, and it really could go in either one. Place it where you can easily reach it and where it won't be in the way. Pretty much anywhere you want it to be so long as it stops the flow of hot coolant through the heater core.
[QUOTE=cncfreak247;1561868151]Trying to find out which one of these products is the insulation that goes under the carpet in the cabin. Thanks for the help
Hey man, I will be honest with you... I removed all my interior myself and then went to Home Depot and used some duct insulation (frost King) cut to fit... placed it all throughout the interior of my 1972 and my 2000...... works great.... just cut to fit... glue it in and reinstall the carpet.........plus it all cost me about 60 bucks for 3 rolls to do both cars....
