I got mine for $130 shipped off eBay. Tons better than stock in my opinion.
BTW, that hood looks like crap. I'll come get it soon so you don't have to find a place to store it.
the temp never breached 200...well, according to the dash gauge. The firewall gauge I installed in the other head read 210 when I shut it off and checked it real quick.:
I had not made or fit the upper core seal, and I was running a mechanical fan with no shroud. I have since installed dual electric fans and the temp never goes above 190.

It was like that in the auction and that's part of the reason I got them cheap. The stain resembled a white mud of some kind, like maybe a rag or towel soaked with mud was put in that seat while it was still in the wrecked car. The stain is all but gone now after a good steam cleaning.

All I can think of when I hear "white mud" is the movie tommy boy, when chris farley gets blasted with fire extinguisher by some kids and says he fell in some white mud.
Those seats look great! What if anything did you have to modify to install them??
I had to modify the tracks of the seats by cutting off alignment pins and the rear feet, and I had to drill new holes for the outside mounting holes, and I had to cut off the side panel trim brackets under the E-brake cover. The side panels still stay on with the middle and front brackets so no big deal.
They are a tight fit, and because they are so wide there is no sliding adjustment. They are all the way back all the time.
That being said, they are the most comfortable sport seats I have sat in.
