Hi,
First check if the compression of the cylinders is OK.
If yes, check the Valve Stem Seal?

if you have a GM dealer anywhere near you, you can buy a fully warrentied engine crate engine.

GM Performance 350 HO crate engine...best bang for the buck. Not that you can't find something else cheaper (and less powerful), but hard to find new engine that does what the 350 HO does with a new warranty along with it.

Why not rebuild what you have? Probably cheaper overseas than trying to find a crate engine.

About $25.00 worth of valve stem seals can work wonders.

It will cost more to rebuild than buy a long block (260HP) $5500. Mine is approx.320HP.
Here it will cost about $ 8-10000 fore a crate 350HP with flat tappet cam.
If I can get a "good deal" in USA it will cost me shipping + 25% tax of bill.

A nice rebuild kit should be under $1000 here with the best of everything for a mild performance rebuild. Machine work can be done locally, in US around $1000 or less depending on head work required. Is it that much more there? If you don't have a rod hanging through the side of the block-which you don't-I can't see why that wouldn't be substantially less money?

What color is the smoke? Are you burning coolant or oil? Are you smoking all of the time or just on startup.

It`s smoking blue when it ´s getting warm. When hot it always smokes.
Never smokes when cold ,but after a few minutes.

You don't live in Norway.
One liter 95 gas cost $1.80-1.90

You said US price plus shipping plus 25%. That ought to be $1000+$200 shipping at the most+$300 tax. How much is machining there?

A whole engine say $3000 + $600 + $900 tax, that has to be more money.

What ever you do, if it's #'s matching, keep the original engine, even if you put in a crate engine.

I would guess that the smoke is white then. I don't know that you need a new engine as long as your oil pressure is still good. Did you do a compression test? It sounds more like a bad head gasket or a cracked head.

The smoke is always BLUE, the oil pressure is between 40 and 60.
The block is original but the heads are Chevy alu. intake and carb is Edelbrock.
I took a leak test today and that was fine.No leak into intake or headers.
I have only ran the car about 1500 miles after re-done the heads last winter.
