Ok ok... flame me if you must... This is one tacky looking C3 on eBay.. at the same time I am strangely attracted to it's glommed on body parts and "Corvette Summeresque" look....
I don't know. I agree with you, though. It's a total mismatch of parts that looks like it was kinda thrown together, but on the other hand it looks like it was somewhat done properly (minus the speakers in the door). It's be an intersting car to have. One of those love/hate relationships.
It's a classic turbo kit!I have no problem with it other than the red wheels.(A little too much)I would yank some of the not needed junk off and make it more business. It has nice lines!!I have seen a few turbo kits that were awesome. The price?????OUCH!

Done Properly????
Look closely at the pictures, I'd say the looks like it was kinda thrown together is more accurate.
It would be an interesting car for someone else to have....
"Every car offered is a close to quality Show Car ready for trophies and many are Museum Quality automobiles. You can proudly take these Trophy Winners straight from our showroom to a Car Show."
And:
"After receipt at our Largo facility, all cars are brought to as close to #1 condition as possible. The finished cars are then offered to the public for their personal ownership and enjoyment."
Yet they offer pictures of a car that has such obvious flaws.
If that's #1 condition then my work truck is over the top....
What is it about C3's that makes some people have to "improve" upon their universally admired styling?
I'm not talking about performance modifications or general personalizing. I'm talking about Monster Garage stuff. Is it just the fiberglass tempting everyone with a sawzall and a spatula? If true it still wouldn't account for those god-awful paint jobs and interiors that we see all too often.
It just seems that when the metal bodied cars get modified there are fewer debates about the results being so danged fugly.

OK, I'm done. Thanks for listening.
Curt
I've said it before (and been flamed) and will say it again... no Corvette get modified to the point of incredible levels of tacky and bad taste like the C3. It's like a magnet for the Jr George Barrises on Crack.
While these cars are magnificent and timeless, a significant percentage of them are destined to trailer park Heaven.
There was a time when the c-3 was not considered so timeless,(Kinda like the c-4 now.)All kinds of cars got hacked on in the 70's,but 80% of the vettes survived versus 10% of the rest.It was not that long ago that the mid to later c-3 were as cheap as anything else(Muscle cars). They all seem to be taken a climb now.
