Default Speed Hound is here.

Everyone, I just wanted to take a minute to let you know that Speed Hound Performance and Parts will be signing on as a sponsor to Corvette Forum in the coming days. As soon as I get a logo and a banner it's a go. We specialize in the C2/3/4 corvettes. We are mainly hot rodders but we know how to take care of the restoration cars as well. We have many performance parts available for these car. We also have many restoration parts available. Please check out our website at www.speedhound.com and let me know what you think. If you are in need of a part that is not found on our website, please contact us. We have access to many more parts than we could possibly put on our site.

I am sure some of you are aware of this, but VBP has released their new catalog and they have the C5 front brake upgrade available for 65-82 corvettes. This is exciting news if you ask us. We are proud to be a VBP dealer and are very pleased to offer this brake upgrade. We put C5 brakes on the front of Corvette Fever's Project C4orce from VBP and they work amazingly well for the very little we have driven it. I can not wait to get that car back together so I can drive it hard.

Now an offer to those with the capabilities. This is my first go at the whole website thing. Please critique my site for me. Also, if you know how to do graphic design, I need a couple logos and one that can be a button so I can be listed to the left <-------. If you think you can do it, I am more than willing to give you one heck of a discount on any parts you may need. Or if that's not good enough, we can discuss payment.

Thanks everyone.

Welcome to the forum. It looks like you have some interesting items on your website. The site looks pretty good - I've seen a lot worse.

This comment is purely selfish, since I'm doing a LS1/T56 swap into a 72, but if you can feature more products that deal with C3/LS swaps you might get a fair amount of business. There is rapidly growing interest in this transplant and no one has a comprehensive parts kit to facilitate the conversion.

shhh you are giving away my next project. I have a frame and soon the body will be back on it and I have a blown block for mock up. I hope to have the plates for both engine and hopefully trans by the end of the year. This car will be an auto though so I will have to see what I can do about getting my hands on a manual transmission. I also have some ideas to keep the z bar. Headers will be in the works too. If anyone is near us and would like us to do the swap and mock up using their car, please contact us and lets see if we can work something out.

Thanks for the comments Rick.
