You've heard of the 6 Million Dollar Man??? "we can rebuild him(her). We can make him better, faster, stronger...." da da da daaaa da da da....
I say Rebuild...I also send my condolences.. as someone who recwently broke his Vet...Any thing I can spare is yours...I have a spare hood (the one piece on the front of my car that DIDN'T get damaged!) it's your if you need it..
This is so kind of you.
Unfortunately for me, I dont own the Vette any longer. I guess it has gone where Vettes go when insurance companies keep them. But again, Thank you!

Not to change the subject too far, but I have a friend that just bought a '71 from Jakes forgotton past in Richmond. Are you famliar with them?
Maybe you can check with them and see if he has anything ready for you to take on a new project?

Don't know what you had in the car but $15k does not seem too bad considering you did not have a stated value policy, or an apparent appraisal. I would not be surprised if some companies would have offered $8K for the car. Best of luck on your next automotive venture.
