The stereo radio has the little light (1/8" round window with light) for indicating stereo "signal level"; the AM/FM does not. The radios appear the same except for that. Both have a convector; the stereo version has TWO power transistors, the AM/FM has one. If yours has no convector, there is no way to get any sound. Check on eBay or contact someone in the refurb business. It appears that a PO tried to put it back to stock with a radio but didn't know what he/she needed to get it up and running.
