I'm just curious if it is worth the money spent and does it cover body mounts and shimming?

You can find body mount and shimming articles on BarryK's tech site in the sticky section.

I have that one. Tho that particular book does NOT cover body mounts and shimming, Motorbooks Workshop's "Chevrolet Corvette Restoration Guide" has a lengthy chapter on Bodywork and Frame which does.
